Every day in the classroom and on the field is critical to student success. CCSD is looking for guest teachers, support professionals, and coaches.
Guest Teachers
Guest teachers serve in the absence of the full-time
teacher. This is a fantastic pathway into a teaching career or to continue working with students if you were once an educator. The choice is yours – work where and when you want! Substitute teach at any school, pick a level (elementary, middle, or high school), or select just one school. All we require is that you work 4 days a month (you choose the days). Beyond that is up to you!
Support Professionals Substitute
If you are interested in gaining experience in a field other than teaching, a support staff substitute may be the position for you! Serve in the absence of a regular support staff employee such as an Instructional Assistant, Special Programs Teacher Assistant, Physical Education Aide, and Library Aide.
Coaches
Do you have a passion and talent for coaching students in extracurricular activities? Become a primary or assistant coach for virtually any sport (football, basketball, swimming, etc.), activity (marching band, color guard, etc.), and/or team (dance, cheerleading, etc.). Coaches can be volunteer or paid, but MUST be approved by Human Resources PRIOR to starting at one of our schools.
